Welcome to the Answerbank Quiz Night

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the quiz night. The rules are very straightforward, get as many correct as you can out of these questions.

The questions are a mixture of picture questions and sound questions. This should stop you from googling them!

Please confer with your teammates in your section over at:

You should have a password which will let you into your team's section only. Once you are happy, you should make a post containing your answers in your team's section.

A word of warning. When you get to a music question, the music will start straight away, so don't be scared. You can navigate around the questions by using the previous and next buttons and if you wish to hear the music again, just go back to the questions and the music wil play again.

The maximum score is 66 as I felt that 666 questiosn were too many :-)

Yes 29 is 25. You can work it out by looking at the first line and seeing 4 ghosts=28 so a ghost must be worth 7. The 2nd line has 2 ghosts and 2 pumpkins equal to 30. We know 2 ghosts are 14 so 2 pumpkins must equal 16. from that we can work out a pumpkin is 8.

The third line down shows that a ghost(7), a pumpkin(8) a bat and a spider equal 20. We now know that a bat and a spider add up to 5.

Finally, the bottom line shows a pumpkin(8), 2 bats and a spider add up to 16, so 2 bats and a spider are 8. 1 bat + 1 spider =5 so a bat must be 3 and a spider 2.

From this we can work out the left hand column (7+7+8+3) 25!

Certainly possible but we've only had two regular teams, Narnia and The A Team. The others are just people who fancy a go but might not play next month. I feel it would be a league of 2!

Sorry rowanwitch, I've never heard of Ghost Whisperer so your suggestion about seeing dead people meant nothing to me. I certainly wasn't sure of our answer but had nothing else so went with it. We'll do better next time :-). Goodnight all

Put it like that milady, the A Team has won a third of the matches so far, if we win the next one ;-) we'll be equal. However the scores may reveal differently, if we do it as a league too!
Congrats to the Narnians, a valiant win, though - there were some answers we just didn't know at all.

Not sure a league table would work boxtops. I've only played twice but have been in different teams each time (must be a mercenary quizzer)so I'm not sure how squarebear would administrate that.

Ah that's true magyar - A team has had the same 4 each time. I guess at some point though, one of us will be on holiday, not sure how we get on then, we may have to recruit a willing substitute!
