the 'hotspot' was in 'Strike it Rich' with Michael Barrymore, but you would not be please to be on it as this meant that you could not progress to the next square or win a prize. More than so many 'hot spots' and you were out!

Both the other answers are right. In blockbusters the hotspot section was at the end. Where you tried to win the prize

Just to be pedantic - the hot spots in Strike it Rich were just instructions not to move forward and not a place to stand (collecting 3 hot spots would put youout of the game) it pays to remember "a hot spot's not a good spot! What's a hot spot not?"
