Thank you.  I have spent three days researching this question - I want to move on to the remainder. I acknowledge that there is still time, but I am a lone person, not a member of a team that takes part. Hence, my request.

Go for it Boaw. Couldn't agree with you more. I don't think it matters wether you post an answer now or the day before the deadline. If you don't know the answer then why not ask is what I say. Sorry, I can't help you on that one though as I don't know it either. If I do find out I will let you know if someone hasn't before me.

I probably speak for a number of Quizmailers out there. Fell on this site by chance and if I had to resort to this then I'd give up. By the way our team of two finished in the top ten last year without resorting to this.

Tis a good thing that Genesis59 will not be coming back to this site.  Don't you just hate it when people take things so seriously?  Only a smartarse would bother to drop in just to crow about past triumphs.  And as we all know, nobody likes a smartarse.

no worries bobadob, people like genisis59 annoy me too, and for what I ask? At the end of the day the prize money is not life changing. To me it doesn't matter if I finish first or last. Anyway, if he chooses to go with an answer that someone has posted, then thats his choice. He should have gone away and checked the facts. Thanks for the clue, I shall go away and have another look.

I do this quizmail, and thanks to all you guys I do manage to get a half way decent score. Never had over 140 yet but you don't see me crying.

I think that if genesis59 needs to go and buy some personality. There is no harm in helping each other out. You either know the answers or you don't.

It is a shame that you do not devote your energy into answering the question rathering than bickering on here. For your information I too am a solo entry on Quizmail and by dint of hardwork and research have found the answers to the questions. Last month did require a visit to the reference library to confirm Santa Isabel but surely that is what postal quizzes are all about. Please do not confine your research to this forum get off your posteriors and go and research the questions. Nobody suggested it would be easy but surely when you do find that elusive answer it gives you a sense of achievement?  I would be intererested to hear other regular quizmaillers opinions. Before anyone asks, of course I review this forum, but only because Google suggests it as an appropriate forum. I would be a fool not to wouldn't I? have however invested in an extensive personal library because I do not trust the internet answers. Moral of my story is to do the research yourself, do not rely on the net but try some good old fashioned book research - it will pay dividends in the end. Why did I register for this site? Purely because I got frustrated with individuals posting answers and obvious clues to questions that can be easily found with a bit of time, effort and investment. Once again I wuld advocate an approach of good old fashioned legwork.

Aren't we getting a little too overheated over one question. I also am a solo entrant to Quizmail, I enter the quiz purely for fun, never win any prize money but cheerfully pay my �12 or �13 every month without any complaint just so that I can keep my brain active. If it wasn't for the likes of the "dumbo's" like myself the quiz would fold as everyone would get 150 points, share the prize money ie. a free entry and that would be the end of it. PS does anybody have any more clues to this actress as I am still stuck on it despite all the references to X-files and nepotism, I thought of Zoe Anderson but all the images I could find were of a page 3 model. PS, in answer to postalquiz, I forgot to say that if I only used this forum for all my answers I'm sure my score would be less than 10 every month as not that many Quizmail questions crop up on this forum. People have the choice to give the right answer and so help each other out. Or out of badness give a wrong answer, how we use the answers is up to the individual contestant. PS. many thanks to the people who have posted correct answers in the past and so help me to keep my level of mediocrity!
