Yes I got the OPINE and thought the "A little" was AL, but I suppose it could mean ALE

Yes I got the OPINE and thought the "A little" was AL, but I suppose it could mean ALE shortened (ie without the E)
But it still doesn't include a reference to OPALINE, unless it's a brand name

so OP-AL_INE in chambers dictionary OPALINE is relating to OPAL which is a rock/glass-not a good clue-unless there is an actual drink opaline
