hi does anyone know of a site that shows linking words together.
example
book, brief, court =case.
need help with a few.
full,bone,number= 4letters
hot,fresh,chain= 4letters
driver,ball,loose=5letters
iron,gin,skin=3letters
heavy,pot, kingdom=5letters
full,staking,less=4letters
step,hill,dish=4letters
kin,cat,tail=3letters
iff,playing,punch=4letters.
I thought that factor but couldn't fit tail into it.so didn't suggest it. I have looked up naptail and tailnap but unfortunately according to my dictionary there aint no such word!! or should that be words.
Hi Valanne, I thought the same but everything I checked as 'bobkin' steered me to 'bodkin'.
I could see someone spelling 'painful' as 'painfuLL', a common error, but not 'bobkin' for 'bodkin'. On second thoughts, maybe it's a dialect thing ? My granny's fireplace had a chimley :-)
iff playing punch = card
full staking less - pain
hot fresh chain = mail
driver ball loose = screw
iron gin skin - pig
i cant remember the rest i have not long done one very similar to this if i think of any more i will let u know
I have found a bobkin on Google which is a special type of ashtray that allows you to put out a cigarette without causing any smoke. I expect it is a trade name but you never know!
