4 Elba ....I saw Elba - famous palindrome

How did you arrive at Sweden Kettledrum. I mean the first three letters? I am not convinced that Elba is right for the other one.

1) new (north,east,west-three quarters) port
1 Sweden looks fine (South, West, East are 3 quarters of the compass and lair = den)

Hi Stargazer! 'Able was I ere I saw Elba' (as said by Napoleon!) is a famous palindrome, ie it reads the same from the front as from the back.
