First over; batsmen 1,3,4,5,6 and 7 are out, No 8 comes in to replace No7 at the end of the over; No 2 was at the non strikers end. Second over; batsmen 2,9,10 & 11 are out, No 8 remains at non-strikers end having not faced a ball. ........unless of course some of the batsmen are out while scoring runs before say being caught or run out but having crossed with the non striker!
