Struggling with the following clues - can anyone help please?
No. 43. 'Ouse-keepin' money for er. (5.5. letters)
No. 44. How evolution produced a nation of gym lovers. (8.2.3.7. letters)
No. 53. Virgin maybe has nothing, exist with 710 rotation. (5-4 letters).
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
I don't think 43 is house wives. The clue is singular and I think it either has to have a dropped aitch in the answer or it is something to do with the River Ouse. Can't work it out yet but trying.
I think you'right quinie. They wrote house keeping in cockney so we would think er was her but there is no apostrophe for the aitch so it is really E R.
