Many thanks JMR 27 - your answer is quite correct as I checked on 'hough' and discovered that it is a joint of meat. It never ocurred to me to knock the two t's from 'thought - Anno Domini is catching up with me! In answer to your question the clue to one across is ' Company getting in a great deal costing very little' so my 'cheapo' is ok. I am intrigued by your user name JMR27. Wuzzer was my nickname at school being an adulteration of my surname. Thanks again

Yes. cheapo looks fine - heap (great deal) inside co(mpany)
My user name is just my initials. When I siigned up to AB the name I wanted to use was already taken grrr :o)
