I am the setter & main seller of the St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild Quizzes. I have used this site and one other to publicize my quizzes for several years and am delighted with the response I get from all over the UK except Wales. Do people there have little spare time to devote on the odd puzzle or two?

The majority of applications received by me come from Yorkshire & Scotland. Any reason for this?

Anyway, thanks to all the ABers who so regularly support me.

"St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild" suggests 'older' women. When you apply that to Wales, English might not be their first language.

True. Actually we are not an organisation for older women, although we do have some older members, but our title may give that impression. I have equal numbers of quiz applications from men and women. I do a quiz approcimately every six months and get the same people applying time and time again. I see your point about the language thing.
Well my sister and me enjoy doing your quiz and we are from swansea in wales.
keep up the good work
and by the way we don't all speak welsh.

Glad you're enjoying my current quiz. I received your application for two quizzes and one from a lady in Welshpool this time. Sometimes I get a request from a Cardiff quizzer (not for the latest quiz so far) and that's about it!

Thanks for your continued support.
