Dingbats Help. How do they work

For example I have 6 to do of which one is Mail Winner and the next Valise Rasp. If I knew how they worked I might be able to do the rest. Many thanks.

As I only do these quizzes and crosswords for fun I am a bit taken aback by the fervor of boysinblue's response. I forgot that some people actually do them to make money. Also I was at a loss whether to put QFC quiz or MacMillan Cancer Support, so didn't put either. Your point is taken, boysinblue, can we now drop the subject.? Though I still haven't sorted out those bleep bleep dingbats!

Unfortunately, the likes of boysinblue and his henchmen only appear to do these quizzes to win money and hate to see answers being given away. As long as you have paid your money to the charity, please feel free to ask any and all questions on this site.

squarebear - you are entitled to your opinions, but, a) I have no henchmen, b) you still have no idea why I do these quizzes, despite me telling you many times, c) you have been asked why you do not help the charities by buying the quizzes, but either cannot or will not answer that question - all you do is continue to ruin them.

kustard - happy birthday - not paranoid at all, just trying to help charities, enjoy quizzes and not have them turned into lotteries. I have asked many times but no one has ever answered as to what satisfaction anyone can get by being given answers on a plate?

Boysinblue68. Thanks for the birthday greetings. I do every quiz I can get my hands on and only ask for help when I cannot sleep trying to think of an answer. I too hate the long lists that some people ask for but, in this instance, I really think that ndofu didn't understand how to do Dingbats and needed help. This is the difference.

kustard - I disagree about the original post - as I said before, a simple "what is a dingabt" would have provided the answer. However, by quoting questions from a brand new quiz (only 3 days old at the time), I do think ndofu knew exactly what they were doing. I too do a lot of quizzes, but many of mine are sent in with gaps - and it really is painless.

I was in your position once, ndofu, but I soon came to the conclusion that it is a question and answer site and it was pointless trying to discourage questions and answers from quizzes. I now help anyone who is asking for a few answers, but I do refrain from giving answers to those that seem to post most of the quiz on here.
