When is cheating cheating?

OK - here is another dilemma of mine!

When is cheating cheating?

It has been suggested asking here is cheating. How about when I take a quiz round to family and brainstorm over a curry? Is that cheating?

Some of those puzzles could be really tricky, I don't know how you guys figure out the answers, sometimes.

Yes, I think it is random but we could maybe persuade them to put us together (assuming we get past the audition)

I think the competitors on The Chase are randomly put in a team, unlike Eggheads where they are known to each other.
