Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Another week has gone by and the brief promise of Spring looks fragile as the weather once more reverts to wide-scale frost and even snow (in parts) across County Antrim. Nonetheless, the dog still needs its walks and as I face the blizzards I am thankful that the tropical fish aren’t so demanding!

However, it’s not all Doom and Gloom. On the Sports front, I am still basking in the glory of Liverpool’s thrashing of Manchester United last Sunday. This weekend, there’s the Rugby to look forward to in the next round of The Six Nations followed by The Cheltenham Festival of Racing, where I hope to place a few winning wagers (playing on the Luck of the Irish). Whilst on the subject of the Irish, may I wish you all a Happy St Patrick’s Day (when it arrives).

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts! Each of my selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My second set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am

I shall try hard for at least one point (in either of the games) this week! News from Japan that my daughter-in-law's family (in the south-west of Honshu) is safe and there appears to be no damage to the house. Fingers crossed that rescue and salvage operations in the north are effective.
