They are all the names of plays.

it has been suggested before that the eponymous character is only talked about and doesn't appear

on second thoughts, not sure whether they are talked about but they certainly don't appear

Not too familiar with any of the plots though my instincts tell me Bibblebub is spot on. Certainly Godot never turns up.

Don't think Abigail is ever seen either.

According to 'Penguin TV Companion' Abigail is never seen.
