I think anything in writing is difficult as it often sounds harsher than it was meant. : o)

You're right, grasscarp. The nuances of body language, vocal emphasis, and so on don't come over too well in print. Which is why some ABers are surprised when their words are misunderstood. But I'm quite a nice person, really.
