a person drops aperfectly inflated ball in a building that 20 stories high, but the ball bounces only a few inches high. why is that?

Is the answer because.... the person's not dropping the ball FROM a building that's 20 storeys high??

That's right. He is only dropping it from a few inches above ground. The fact that it is a 20 storey building has no bearing on the riddle.

be cause he is in the building .so he is only droping it on the floor that he is standing on two to three feet.
