woman on herself

"there was a woman and she lived in a house on herself and before she went to bed she always locked all the windows and doors but then when she woke up the window was open and she looked outside and she was so terified of what she saw she jumped out of the window to kill herself" so the question is why did she kill herelf and heres a clue what ive already find out (she killed them not in her sleep she didn't give them any injureies so that it left a mark, the thing she saw was dead people and she killed them in bed) and how did she kill the people its right hard!!!!! my english teacher wont tell me!!! any ideas???
