My maths is pretty ropey, but I'll offer this for dissection...

86,400 seconds in a day goes into one billion
11,574.074074074074074074074074074 (recurring)
times, so that would equate to

31.70959 years.

ish.
Ah but that is an American billion(1,000,000,000), the UK billion is 1,000,000,000,000 and would take a thousand times longer, so assuming your maths is correct:

31,709.59 years
I believe Britain adopted the US definition of billion , I think in the reign of Harold Wilson.
It would take One Billion seconds !!!
