I was thinking that gen2 but couldn't really associated Curie with scientist apart from the obvious link.

If that is the answer, you could also have "male politician = Gordon Brown". It doesn't realy fit for me.

I now see what you mean about Marie Curie. It wasn't until I saw your answers squarebear, that I could guess what we were looking for. People and characters?

I have now worked out that the words given are synonyms of what we are looking for. Hope this is correct?

sarahjacko1, I see you are a new member so here are a few guidelines for the future:

1) Include in your post, an explanation of what you are looking for.

2) Put multiple questions from the same quiz or puzzle together in the same post.

3) These would perhaps be more appropriately posted under the main heading of 'Quizzes and Puzzles'
