Comet Elenin... Is it a big threat?

I am extremely worried since discovering that the NASA Administrator recently gave an emergency preparedness video to all staff at NASA. Also, why are all major governments building thousands of underground bunkers and collecting banks of seeds? The U.S government has also recently purchased millions of dollars worth of freeze dried food? Do they really know something we don't? I thought the threat of a collision with Elenin was virtually no existent.

Yes, we're all doomed! I overheard Elvis Presley saying exactly the same thing to Lord Lucan in our local chippy. (I was so surprised that I nearly fell off Red Rum, and I almost let slip that it was really me who shot JFK).

It's okay, I managed to find a very senior NASA scientist who has dispelled any threats of danger from this comet. Phew!!

The only time you'll hear of danger is when it's a near miss or when the human race's extinction is imminent. I've worked in an industry in which the public were mislead and all threats downplayed, only when the threat to human life was imminent were the public told. I know this is the way the governments and Nasa also work.

Yo will have noticed in the videos, comets will always hit New York, so don't go there, especially when there is a big target over it...like now.
