Can you tell me if razor blade is sharper when cold or hot, knowing that it expands when its hot does this cause the edge to dull.

Theoretically, the edge of a razor blade would be 1 molecule thick. Increasing the temperature would increase the spacing between the molecules, but it would still be 1 molecule thick - ie just as sharp

I don't know but if it's hot it expands so it must be sharper longer. ( or is that longer sharper?)

i dont think it is sharper either way, but if its hot it will have less resistance cutting, generally.

ex a hot knife through frozen, or just-out-of-the-fridge butter.
