What should the formula be to work out the following question using sin, cos or tan? 28 years since doing this and totally forgotten.

A helicopter takes off from an army base on a bearing of 75deg and flies for 52km. How far east has the helicopt flown and how far north?

Once I can remember the workings I can help my son with the rest. Thk u.

Thank you all for taking the time and effort to help see a 45 yr old bloke thru basic GCSE stuff! After all these years since leaving school I have never used these functions or workings but I am intent on fully understanding it. Have a good evening all.
Just type 52*sin 75 into your Google search bar.
I was hopeless at maths and never really understood it at the time and probably recall it imperfectly, 60 years later.

For some kinds of problem we were told:-
Go to the opposite side and round the rt angle, reciting as you proceed, something like this:-

Tan Cos Cosec [and on the way back??]
Sine Sec Cot

What was that all about?
