Does anyone know of any websites which discuss whether it is the case that large pharmaceutical companies are choosing to market new drugs in this country (UK) first, because the law here is favourable to them? I have done searches in google but can't find anything useful, no doubt because my search skills are not up to scratch.  Thank you!

No, sorry.

For once (much  as I am loathed) I would ditch the net in this instance in favour of a journal, there are about 10 really solid Pharma journals in the UK, and they would all cover this in some way. Go to your local uni library, they will have a selection of these journals.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I tried, but unfortunately when I checked the catalogue at my nearest uni, pharmaceutical journals were available on the internet only.  As I am not a student at the institution I am unable to log on their network.
