HF Dummy Load

I want to build a 50 ohm dummy load capable of handling 100W at 3-30 MHz. I think I can simply connect twenty 1K, 5W resistors in parallel.  Is it really that simple? Will I need some sort of capacitor to pass the RF?

My husband says that you have to use carbon film resistors not wire wound ones. Dummy loads are cheap on ebay.

buddha01 - Thanks, I took your advice and found a forum. I am awaiting reply.
It is for an amateur radio setup. I want to be sure I have the radio tuned properly into a dummy load before I connect it to an antenna.
