25% of Brits do not believe that man landed on the moon ....
... according to Stephen Fry on QI.
Can that be true? Does anyone here believe that man didn't land on the moon - and if so, why?

The technology to convince the Russians, and to keep on convincing everyone so many years later couldn't have existed then.
Our capacity for believing arrant nonsense is amazing - there are a great many US citizens who assert the literal truth of the Old Testament and deny evolution.
as for Mr fry, he has a programme to make - if his researchers said 90% of people believed we landed on the moon, it would never have reached the screen...

theres loads of 'evidence' against that is very thought provoking... regarding the crosshairs etc
to blindly believe without checking it all out and making your own mind up makes people morons - not the doubters.
i tend to believe about 50/50 really .. i dont 'disbelieve' exaclty - but i'm also not 100% convinced having seen the evidence - both sides make good arguments

Ah well, only 47 per cent of Britons believe in God [Gallup 2004; don't suppose it's changed much since then]. Just thought I'd mention it.
Yes, man landed on the moon. There has been abundant scientific refutation of the supposed evidence that is used to support the opposite claim.Don't think the Russians were so bad at espionage, or at space or military technology, that they couldn't show that it never happened. They knew it did.
