Can some one please explain, in laymens terms the Higgs Bossun?

Well naughty you!! asking a question which has been asked before - says VHG.
I will attempt to answer your question, I am qualified to answer this being a retired sheetwertlemaker
I you get a bucket of warm spit, drop in a dried pea to use as a marker, then
swirl the liquid round faster and faster, till the pea appears to turn into two peas.
When the second pea catches up with the first pea & then overtakes it - this is the piont at which you have a Higgs Bussom.
I have tried my best to keep it simple, & wish you well in your further studies of the subject, but don't hesitate to come back for more info.
