“According to String/M Theory, if it were possible to lower the temperature of the universe to “Absolute Zero” would the strings stop vibrating?”

I'd be too cold to care at -273°C or whatever absolute zero is
If the impossible were possible then I guess anything could happen.
Dunno, but, considering that each mode of vibration represents a different particle, and the vibrations are responsible for mass, spin and charge, I would guess that if all the strings stopped vibrating, the Universe would cease to exist.
^^ come to think of it, that would seem to make sense, because to get to absolute zero, you would need to remove all the energy from the system.
Achieving it when uncertainty seems to be a factor of reality, would be a neat trick though.
