Either the contacts are worn or dirty causing sparking or the inductive nature of the motor can cause spikes on the line if not properly suppressed. Both of these can cause local RF transmission which interferes with TV, radio etc.
I get the same when my dehumidifier kicks in.
They are only about 8-10 feet apart and it only happens when the dehumidifier kicks in. I get a bit of a crackle and picture interference for a second and then it's fine.
Probably the same reason why, when the motors/pumps/heating in my airing cupboard starts to make a sound, my upstairs TV and radio reception goes to pot.
Have you tried fitting filters ? It was a common problem with with car engines but filters solved the problem. You should fit it on the fridge mains plug and if necessary on the TVs.
Most all new electrical items have them built in but if the motor is sparking badly it may get even worse.
