What if any is the difference between bicrbonate of soda(raising agent in cooking) and sodium bicarbonate(indigestion remedy)? ( I know sodium bicarbonate is also naturally secreted into the colon)

There is no difference. Another alternative name is sodium hydrogencarbonate. Chemical formula is NaHCO3.
