What Would We See If Invisible Light Was Visible?

Let's say that we could see xrays, radio, microwaves, etc what would we see?

I guess that depends on how you imagine it was visible, since it's not.

But I would suggest you would see it much as you see light. Reflected off objects they would allow you to detect objects, but side on you see nothing much.
If you Google "infra red photo" you will see pictures taken with IR sensitive film with the colours artificially altered to colours which are visible to us. This gives you an idea of what an animal whose eyes were sensitive to IR would see. You can also find ultra-violet photos.
Basically, resolution is inversely proportional to wavelength. As wavelengths increase the resolution possible decreases . . . and vice versa.
I know this is a late post, but we have to think on this: that we can only 'see' an extremely small fraction of the known spectrum! Makes me wonder how some people think what we see as humans IS reality!

What we perceive is reality. Knowing explicitly what that reality is, on the other hand, requires a comprehensive understanding of the means and process of vision, what it is we are perceiving and how.
