i've got the oppurtunity to go along to a seminar for three days at nottingham university. it is 220 which i am willing to pay because i feel this would really help me get prepared for my future in medicine, which i really want to do.
the thing is, my sixth form teacher has said we will have to take a look at my GCSE results. i only got two C's which is a pass but i cant help thinking it wont be good enough.
does anyone know about this course and know if there is some requirement to go? i cant think why there would be because i'm studying biology and chemistry now at A-level and i am paying to go.
please can someone help me, i was so excited when i found out what the course entails and now i feel rather deflated. please put my mind at rest

there doesn't seem to be any mention of pre-requisites but thre's a phone number why not just give them a ring and ask?

I suspect your tutor may just be trying to let you down gently because you'll have to do a damn site better than 2 C's to be accepted onto a medical course.
Although I always remember the opening lecture given to students on that "Doctors to be" program a few years ago - He said "Does it take extreme intelligence to be a doctor? No. Does it take hard work? Yes, Like nothing else!"
