Is that the full question, Double93?
Do you understand what a molecule is? Try Googling it, then it becomes rather trivial.
2; 6; 2. (the gas ammonia is NHsubscipt 3)
I suggest you try te Dogsbody method; if you use the frugalfred answer you won't get many marks.
Does Avogadro make an appearance here somewhere?

Or have I totally forgotten, got confused about my chemistry lessons.
(Goodness knows I was confused enough about them when I had to sit through them.)
No, Avogadro is dead Ladyalex, he won't be making an appearance here.
Actually that is a relief to me. I can now forget about him and his number after all these years.
Never liked him much, the umber was too big for me to think about clearly.
the number, not the umber...that's a river, innit?
Hard luck ladyalex, Avogadro might be dead but his number lives on. It is big though, isn't it?
Memo for Frugalfred: I must remember to find out what the difference between an atom and a molecule is. Lest I make a fool of myself in class.
Oh no...just when I thought it was safe to forget about him and his number....all those zeros

I know a molecule is when two or more atoms form chemical bonds with each other.

Would i be right in saying:
2 Nitrogen molecules
3 Hydrogen molecules
2 Ammonia molecules?
Did he mean atoms???
I could have answered that....
No
Question Author
I mean 1 nitrogen!
Is that "no" for me, for Double 93 or for us both?
My "no" was for Double93 ladyalex - he's got it right now. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you :)
Hurrah!

Well done, Double93...it's always better when you get there on your own.

No problem Double93. I'm always happy to point people in the right direction to get their homework right but doing it for them doesn't teach them anything. Dogsbody clearly thinks like I do.
