I know this one sounds a bit out there but on YouTube you would be surprised how many people make videos on the strangest of ideas. My question to the AnswerBank is weather anyone has any scientific evidence for this view?

There was a question on this recently , I found this https://flatearthscienceandbible.wordpress.com/2016/02/08/top-ten-undeniable-flat-earth-proofs/ How far can you read it without laughing out loud? I managed it until I got to the bit that says.> '' If the Earth was round aircraft would have to dip their noses down every few miles to avoid flying off...

We can see it's not flat from space.
Of course it's flat !!!

Keep travelling and eventually you'll fall off the edge
Two questions about strange theories? What have you been watching?

I don't agree with a flat earth all btw but I wondered if anyone out there would be willing to defend the idea from a scientific point of view...
rbedson, how could anyone defend the idea from a scientific point of view. The idea is nonsense.

I'm with you, naomi24 - but believe it or not I have met people who genuinely insist that the earth is flat. I put this one out there as a bit of a dare for anyone to stand up for the idea with reasons that could be examined by others...
Is this AB Editor again in disguise trying to get everyone to agree on at least something?
Come out, you've been rumbled!
^ I also would be genuinely interested to see what argument a real 'flat Earth' supporter would put up.

Interesting take! I only joined today and fired out a couple of controversial questions to see if anyone interesting was using the site ;-)
It's obvious it's flat. If it was round all the water in the oceans would fall off. Try covering a football with an inch of water and see how you get on. Also, if it was spherical and spinning, we wouldn't need powered aircraft. All passengers would have to do is go up in a balloon and wait for their intended destination to just come round then go down again. Not only that, I've got a map of the world on my office wall and it's quite clearly flat. Those portrayals that look like a globe are only made so that you can take the top half of to get to the drinks.
Great answer NJ.
And if it was round , people in Australia would be standing upside down
lol @ NJ
^^ Well that's convinced me New Judge I'm a flat earther from now on.
Never was sure how all those Ozzies managed to stand on their heads all the time!
I asked a question on here a little while ago:

I wonder if any 'Flat Earth' believer has ever flown to New Zealand and back?
You can go one way via Europe and the Far East and come back the other way via the Pacific and the USA.! So a round the globe trip.
I also love these videos on youtube, these and the King James was a black man videos.
Of course it is flat. Space is curved and so light travels in curves to your eye making things look round.
