Well, I've started so I'll finish...
OK, firstly, no, not all theorists believe in every theory, but that wasn't what I was suggesting in the first place. But a theory doesn't spontaneously emerge, someone has to come up with it. Then more people jump on the various bandwagons or whatever, but there was a starting person for every given conspiracy theory.
In which case, the question "why are there more US conspiracy theorists?" doesn't seem to me to be helpfully answered by "because more conspiracy theories relate to events in the US" -- because the two almost go hand-in-hand with each other. You'd expect more US-related theories to inspire more US-based theorists -- and more US-based theorists would be inclined to create more US-based theories. Both drive the other, but which really came first? Chicken and egg.
And that's about as much time as I'm prepared to spend on an argument I didn't really want to get into in the first place.

Eddie.....I joined Quora a week ago. I haven't spent much time there yet, but I think that its not anything like as organised as AB !
But perhaps I would say that !
What I don't understand about these daft theories is this........ You might expect uneducated people to believe them.......by their very nature, most of them lack the ability to be able to sort out the wheat from the chaff.
But why otherwise, educated and intelligent people get caught up with things that can't possibly be true, is more difficult to understand.
Even a cursory glance at this particular conspiracy theory would immediately show that its not possibly true.

There is a general Human tendency to want this sort of thing to be true, I'm an Occams razor man myself but many would just love all this old pony to be true and people don't need much convincing when they naturally want to head in that direction. That's why most of the wonderful world of mumbo jumbo has believers. FYI most of the moon conspiracy theories came about after the film Capricorn one planted the seed which was about...err Mars!
they have been around since oooo 10/11 I would say
either 1) they didnt exist OR
2) false flag ( done by CIA, MI5 , KGB or some other TLA)
Americans do conspiracy viddies MUCH better than we do. There are around 6 people out of 60 m in the UK who believe that the Tavistock Square bomb er wasnt.
the compelling evidence is that 1) there is a mysterious white van near the bus near the BMA
2) there is a red haired man in T Sq and another one photographed in Kings Cross at the Same Time
and er that's about it.
3) oh and the photographs CAN'T have been taken at the time and so they were taken at some other time.
There are even viddies of the Arena bomb ( only one on the internet of the Hall) and a voice over saying that the bodies arent (bodies)- and the damage isnt severe enough. If you look hard at the 'fake' viddie the cameraman is actually standing in a pool of the bombers blood + guts, whilst the VO is denying that there are any marks on the white marble floor
There is a viddie of the Trafford park practice - and the VO says it is labelled as Arena and obviously fake ( well that one is!)
and a viddie of the London Bridge - with the VO saying it is a false flag for MI5
have fun [ different voice overs - just in case you wondered if the VO got rather hoarse after all that lying)

// The theory came first which is why all conspiracy theorists don’t support all conspiracy theories. As the Americans say, have a nice day. //
yeah right so s/o thought of Tavistock Sq as a conspiracy theory - and then later Bang! hey a bomb went off !
and that is why some people believe that London Bridge is a false flag attack and some dont....
yeah right
have a nice day as Americans say
or normal day on AB as I keep on saying

So the official time line shows the plane hitting at 9:03 but the camera footage shows the camera cutting to a clock on a shop showing 9:04 seconds before the impact- and so the times don't match so it must have been a fake.
Rubbish theory isn't it Alf. Maybe you will return at some future date and explain what happened to the planes that were reported to have crashed.
