Partial Eclipse

Anyone looking out for this, this evening? I know it's only 4.5% coverage, but having not been able to get to the US for the stunning show this will have to do. With eclipse glasses, of course. You won't notice anything different otherwise.

I'm a tad confused about timings. Kay Burley on Sky News the other day said it would be about 5-6 pm ish, but the NASA site says 7 pm UT, which is the same as GMT, so 8pm BST.

Am I wrong?

At 4.5% I reckon I'll give it a miss. Especially as, in the UK, every show from the heavens is obscured by cloud cover.

Telegraph says today the partial can be seen at around 7:35 onwards.

Thanks, everyone. If the clouds go it's still mildly interesting to see through eclipse glasses. Won't compare to the real thing though.

Most peeps who have seen a total have traveled a ways . . . many have booked accommodations years in advance.
