if something is labelled "Nickel allergy tested" does this mean it is nickel free? or there is not enough nickel to cause an allergy?? can anyone point me somewhere that explains this?

Try looking up Birmingham Assaying Offices website (not sure exactly what they're called) it may give you in depth info.
