//Nasa is to allow tourists to visit the International Space Station from 2020, priced at $35,000 (£27,500) per night.//

Assuming you could finance your trip, would you go?

I saw that thread but the title gave no indication of its content so it didn't grab my attention. Oh well....
I don't think your 35 grand includes flights but in any event no, I wouldn't go.
I like my creature comforts too much.
Understood, this is the new updated issue.

Would you go Naomi?
If I was younger I'd go in a heartbeat.....
Question Author
I would love to go. What an experience!
The chance to see the stars with no limits except my own vision

And to see the earth from space.

I'm rather hoping one or two here might like to start a crowd-funding page for me. ;o)
I read about this last week....answer is a hard no from me
Question Author
woofgang, would you be afraid to go - or are you simply not interested?
//I'm rather hoping one or two here might like to start a crowd-funding page for me. //

Or else face a launch-pad of custard pies!! ;-)

I'd rather keep my feet on the ground...

It would be awesome, I'm sure, but I'd be too nervous...
Question Author
Patsy, I can't say I wouldn't be nervous - I would - very - but I would hope I'd overcome that.
Can I go when Major Tim Peake's on it?
I absolutely LOVE flying. That would be the ultimate flight...
Not naomi, afraid but I am thinking its going to be a restrictive and uncomfortable experience.
Yes i would love to go. I think i may get minor travel sick. I'd also be bricking it because i'm not the biggest fan of flying, but a once in a lifetime experience it would be.
Are you able to see the roundness / shape of the earth from the
ISS ? - if so then yes

Anyway don't you have to go through rigourous training to be able to go up there ?

No because I couldn't justify it even if I had the finance. But if you're paying, sure !
Question Author
Bazile, //Anyway don't you have to go through rigourous training to be able to go up there ? //

Compared to the training astronauts are given, I think the training would be relatively minimal for people who are only passengers.
