Hi Dari I think the body of your question has got lost in translation . What you are referring to is called Situational Sexual Behavior . If you Google this you will get plenty of resources for your research project.

Is there any proof that "straight, lesbians, guys " try to change their sexual identity after a break up? I'm not sure there is.

I think the whole label of a sexual identity is the issue. Just let people be fluid.
Wasn't aware it was a thing.
Maybe it's just bisexuals who opt for a change ?
Yes, correct OG. It seems if that is the case, then the person must be Bi Sexual. This means the only issue is the label that was initially given to them.

If you have a label over you, it sets a precedent

What I am trying to say is , sometimes after Trauma , we try to change our sexual identity for maybe forget the person or what happened , what do you think ?
you say "we" as though its a common thing. Do you perhaps mean "you"?
"what do you think ?"

I think that yes, relations can influence your perception on relationships and sexual identity but it's not a case of revenge on your previous sexual identity.. You just be you, surely?

I've not come across this before, I thought it was hairstyles that usually got changed after a break-up.
