Both LH and FSH are hormones produced by the pituitary and act on the testis to produce testosterone.

Hence not enough testosterone raises the levels of the two hormones and this is seen in hypogonadism, which may be primary or secondary.

Google hypogonadism and you will find the commonest causes of a raised LH and FSH in men.........non of the conditions are common.

@Squad Will suppressing lh and fsh get test to normal levels?is 420ng/dl in a 21 year old Indian male good?

420 ngms is normal in a male.

The commonest cause of high LH and fsh is Klinefelters syndrome and yes, high doses of testosterone will bring the FSH and LH down to normal.
However, the figures of 420ngms is normal.
