no it is not true...they tasted on various tv shows such as brainiac (uk) and mythbusters (usa + uk)...
conclusion is completely false, i dont know who made this up but they sure are wierd to go and tell everyone
also all waves (such as sounds) can be reflected so that pretty much sums up how wrong it is

ok, why, on the film titanic (after the thing has sunk) do their voices echo ? they are in the middle of the atlantic ocean with nothing for sounds to reverberate off - sorry but that has been bugging me for ages !

Yes a ducks quack DOES echo ,people think it doesn't because ducks live in a very open enviornment lakes, ect. it does echo 'cause my mom had tons of ducks in her steel barn it was always so very loud with quack! quack! quack! it does echo.
