Best view of Perseid Meteor Shower is this weekend, August 11-13, before dawn.
This year's conditions are better than usual due to the late rising waning crescent moon.
Darker skies are best for impressive views with several meteors per minute possible.
Clouds can block your view but some can still be seen between in partly cloudy skies.

I remember kneeling on the floor at the end of a B777 centre console at 40,000 ft looking at the perseids. It was stunning.
