Excessive Tongue Thrust- 7 Months Baby

My daughter will be 7 months old in 2 weeks but she has been exhibiting tongue thrusting since birth. 
thisnis now affecting her feeding and eventhough she has now began to sit with little support, her feeding on solids isn't improving. Kindly advice what could be the problem if any.

Tongue thrusting usually stops between 4 and 6 to 7 monthshold off the weaning or try giving breat milk or formula from a small spoon
