Following on from LeedsRhinos thread:


If the Romans HAD the means to land on the moon, what would our world be like now?


I mean the Anglo Saxons would have PC's William the Conquerer would have been able to talk to King Harold via mobile phone etc so where would science have us now?

If that technology existed then, the human race would have probably destroyed itself by now.

I'm sure that given another two thousand years or so, the human race would have discovered far more new and interesting ways to exterminate ourselves and many other species along with us. I would imagine upon our ultimate demise, the planet, and any other creatures left alive, would breath a huge sigh of relief.
