50Hz Vs 60Hz

An equipment developed to work in a 50Hz, like a refrigerator or microwave will work properly in a 60Hz power source?

I dont think so. Certainly they did'nt a few years ago. If I remember rightly, motors tend to go faster at 60 hertz.
Most thnings will work okay on both frequencies, as Big Al1st says motors will run slightly faster on 60hz. An electric clock will gain time.

Simple things like motors etc... might work OK but some more intelligent things do not like the frequency to be wrong such as photocopiers, UPS especially will not work on the wrong frequency . Also things with wound components will be affected and take less current which might make them unreliable such as relays and contactor coils.
