weird dreams when hot

hi is it just me? but i tend to have weird dreams when i am too hot in bed i.e. got the winter quilt on and its a mild nite. i tend to wake up after a bizzare sleep with my body with beads of sweat on me.so is there a conection between your body heat and dreaming?

Could it be somethimg simple as that as because you are too hot you are semi waking up? so therefore you have more of a chance of remembering your dreams?

You dream when you are in the lighter stages of sleep. When its hot its difficult to get to sleep so you are more likely to dream in this sleep state.

Hi, you are not alone with this problem. I have really odd dreams when I'm too hot in bed. Be interesting to see what the scientific bods have to say about it all.

I agree if i am hot i often have strange dreams. when i had flu for example i had a fever and kept having really vivid, frightening dreams. cant say why it happens though apart from whats already been said

heat has a funny affect on the brain and body, simply when you heat the body internally or externally you repond psycogenically and you would most likly dream when at rest and see thigs when you are awake/oasis
