If we could travel at the speed of light or faster and hit a planet, would you go right through it? Big boom, little boom, or no boom?

more a splat, i'd say
Big boom, probably. No matter how close to the speed of light an object can move (and no object with mass can reach the speed of light), it still moves through all the points in space on its path, even though the space undergoes relativistic distortion. So the objects will collide.
