What's the medical term for the inability to read words correctly in the same way that Dyslexics are unable to process the written word?


I'm sure I've heard it before but I can't for the life of me remember what it was!


Any dead Romans here who could help?

What's the medical term for the inability to read numbers correctly, in the same way that Dyslexics are unable to process the written word?

Dyscalculia or possibly acalculia.

Dyslexia is more complex than the name suggests however, and often affects numeracy as well as litteracy.
