If a fly got into a space capsule........

and the capsule reached space, would the fly be able to fly or would it just float?

If the space capsule was full of air then it would be able to fly. It would tkae it some time to get used to the zero gravity though. If the space capsule had no air then it would just float even though it would be dead.
Not unless the fly was strapped with the latest zero-gravity fly-wear!

You should write to NASA, they would tell you exactly what happened, since the fruit flies were the first animals in space and they were sent by the Americans.

Sorry to disagree Just, but the first animal in space was a Russian dog - and I don't mean the female cosmonaut!

Gef, it's a common mistake, I suppose simply coz not many consider flies animals as such. But yes, they were first to go into space. Layka was the first proper animal.
