If you are refering to the moon landings were faked conspiracy then the answer is a fast exposure time for the camera. see:http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.h tml#stars

with a slower exposure time you would be able to see the stars. Photography follows pretty much the same rules wherever you are.

Generally for stars to appear you need a long exposure because of the small amount of light. Try this, go out to a dark area at night, ie no street lights, look up you should be able to see the stars, now take a picture. Very few will come out in the picture.

if you take a picture of stars using a digital, you wil have to use an ultra high reoloution, as the stars are "tiny" , when viewed from earth. the higher the resolution, the more sars you will be able to see. if using a normal camers, you should try and prolong the exposoure time, as this works by letting in the stars small light ammounts.
