Has anyone out there been seeing an unusual thing in the sky around dusk. It is in the western sky and I have seen it 2 nights in a row right at dusk. It is like a big ball of light (it almost looks like a big planet), but it gets smaller and smaller until finally it disappears. It then will come back out maybe 2 more times and then I never see it again. It cannot be an airplane, because there was no clouds for it to go behind and I watched a jet coming from the west and it did not disappear once! So if any one has an idea, please help me. Thanks!
I am in the lower part of Pennsylvania in the US right where Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia almost touch. And I don't know about the cattle.
I have no idea what the thing is, like I said it is there big and bright and then it fades and disappears! It is pretty weird. I think that I am going to try to record it tonight so that you all can see it, then I will post the URL for the video on here. So keep checking! =) Thanks for all your ideas.
Possibly a sattelite! I'm in southern England and around this time we can sit in our garden and watch the sattelites - look up at the sky at the stars and after a while you can spot them moving very fast across the sky - perhaps your seeing one 'end on' as it were.
